Coming soon: Rebuilding Ft. Myers, How much parents spend to keep their kids afloat
Greetings!
Thank you for reading Love, Money + Real Estate — your support allows me to keep doing this work.
Coming up in the next week, you’ll be able to read about my visit to Ft. Myers. My colleague, Lee Nidetz, drove me up and down the oceanfront, so I could get a first-hand glimpse of how the area is (and isn’t) recovering from its most devastating hurricane, just about 19 months ago. It may not surprise you to learn that the average price of an oceanfront home there is now more than $20 million.
There are also a few new studies that look at how much parents are spending to keep their Gen Z and Millennial children afloat, as well as one that looks at how well we’re doing managing our money when the stock market goes up. It’s just that no one is sure how we’ll do when the market takes a 35% hit, which it will inevitably do at some point.
And, there are always some Hot Reads I’ll include on topics relating to real estate and your personal finances.
